KTM Junior Supercross, presented by Wells Fargo, is gearing up for its 27th season alongside the AMA Supercross Championship in 2026. Featuring 10 rounds plus a Championship Round, registrations are now officially open – offering the ultimate READY TO RACE experience for emerging young talent on the big stage.
For over two decades, the development program of KTM North America, Inc. has provided a spectacular first step into stadium competition, helping launch the careers of some of the sport’s biggest names, including Red Bull KTM Factory Racing athletes Ryan Dungey, Aaron Plessinger, and Julien Beaumer.
The 2026 KTM Junior Supercross will commence at Anaheim 1’s season-opening round in California on January 10, before visiting San Diego, Glendale, Arlington, Indianapolis, Detroit, and Denver. Fan-favorite stops in Houston, St. Louis, and Nashville also return after a brief hiatus.
Top finishers from each of those races will advance to the Championship Round at the Supercross finale in Salt Lake City, Utah, on May 9, where riders will compete for the ultimate prize – a 2026 KTM SX-E 5.
Continuing to lead the charge in electric innovation, all participants will ride KTM’s all-electric SX-E 5 mini-supercrosser. On race day, each rider will receive full factory-level treatment, including professional bike preparation by KTM technicians, exclusive sponsor products, and the complete READY TO RACE experience.
Riders will enjoy a pro-level track walk, two on-track practice sessions, participation in Opening Ceremonies, and a three-lap exhibition race that puts them firmly in the spotlight during the main program.
Registration is open to riders worldwide, continuing the program’s growing international reach. The 2025 season featured talented prospects from Australia, Austria, Brazil, Canada, India, New Zealand, Tahiti and the United States. Applicants will be randomly selected as part of the entry process.
Registrations for the 2026 KTM Junior Supercross, presented by Wells Fargo, are now open. Eligible riders must be 7–8 years old and meet all requirements listed in the official rules. For full details and deadlines, visit www.ktmjrsx.com.
